Fuel Flow Module Test
The question is, "How do you test an experimental liquid-fueled rocket engine without personal risk if it all goes wrong?" ...
Fuel Flow Module Test
Functional test of the fuel/oxidiser control module.

The test includes the operation of the fail-safe isolation valves and the continuously variable delivery valves.

The unit provides fuel and oxidiser to a single FIDO liquid fueled engine.
Injector Assembly
The image shows an injector sub-assembly for the direct injection of fuel and oxidiser into a single FIDO combustion chamber (before bright nickel plating).

If it looks like the assembly is made from standard copper pipe brazed together, then you'd be correct - it is.
Fuel Flow Assembly
The Cerberus multi-headed aerospike engine has 8 component 'FIDO' enginlettes, each of which needs to be independently fed with fuel and oxidiser, and the assembly shown on the right is one of the modules that provides such functionality. The total weight is 1.25Kg.

It consists of a duplicated set of turbine fuel-flow meters, shut-off valves, and flow-control valves - one each for the fuel and oxidiser. The oxisider path needs paticular attention paying to it since the design calls for the transport of two oxidiser types during different phases of flight.
