Functional test of the fuel/oxidiser control module (using water so that I didn't ruin my garden with hydrocarbons).

The test includes the operation of the fail-safe isolation valves and the continuously variable delivery valves.

The unit provides fuel and oxidiser to a single FIDO liquid fueled engine.

Test firing of a single unit on the triply redundant drogue parachute release mechanism.

The pressure formed by the electrical ignition of the Ammonium Perchlorate Composite (APCP) charge forces a sabot at speed out of the firing tube.

The completed system has three such units, each ejects a small tightly-packed drogue parachute. Each drogue chute is independently capable of deploying the main parachute.
