Sensor reclaimation

Sometimes its much simpler and cheaper to smash something up to get what you want than to search RS/Farnell/DigiKey. One set of £10 electronic scales and one hammer later and we have 4 strain gauges complete with load cells with which to create a Wheatstone bridge and measure absolute engine thrust. Its almost too easy ....
