My name is Peter Jones and I am Project Manager and Chief Engineer for the Nebula n-prize team.

The other members of the team are my wife (Mission Recovery Specialist), and my two small kids who desperately wanted to know what daddy was spending all his time doing.

I've been an engineer just about all my life. Electronics, Physics and Computer Science have consumed me from as young as I can remember and I've never lost the passion for science.

After graduating, I spent 8 years at GEC's Flight Automation Research Laboratory and a further 4 on advanced projects research for the same company. Since then, I formed my own consultancy company and having consulted for some of the major blue-chips over the past 9 years, I now want to fulfil a childhood ambition.

Having read a small article in New Scientist magazine that detailed the n-prize and its goals, it would seem somehow wrong not to grasp this opportunity with both hands.

So, that's what I've done. I've put my life on hold for the time being and I'm going to give that childhood ambition the best shot I can: To put a satellite into orbit!
